clever calendar.

Isn’t this such a clever idea for a calendar? I love it. Sadly I don’t have a polaroid camera, but I bet I could make it using Rollip or just use regular pictures. Also, this was sort of inspiring me to make a photo wall. Did you ever have one of those as a teenager? At one point my entire room was covered, wall-to-wall, in photos, stickers and magazine pages. Like this.

While these collages were cool as a teen, I figured I had to put them behind me now that I’m a grown up. BUT…I think maybe I was wrong….

I am totally loving these grown up wall collages. I think I need to make one.

  1. that calendar is amazing! I’m going to do that! Great idea! 😀

  2. I especially like the last photo.

  3. My walls were definitely plastered with pictures as a teenager, and lots of random things cut out of magazines. Then one day I got tired of all the clutter, and tore it all down. These days I go for more tasteful collages, too – I’ve saved all the postcards people have sent me over the years (about 40), and I have them all tacked up on the wall surrounding a painting that I bought in Hong Kong. It looks pretty rad!

  4. ps-i’m now officially obsessed with rollip. i’ve added some pics to my blog 🙂

  5. haha my walls were like that too. that calendar is way awesome, i think you should totally try and make it!

  6. i used to place bluetack behind the pics & then stick them on the wall, but when i moved homes it became too much of a hassle to remove them 1-by-1 & get the bluetack off the walls!

but that idea of a polaroid collage of photos for calendar is a superb idea! i might just get 2gether a few of my most-loved pics & put them 2gether for my very own personalized 2010 calendar!

    nice read! i’m new n i’m following!

  7. hi, i would like to do a ‘magazine covered wall’ at the frontage of my boutique too. Mind to share how you do that? is using bluetack a good way?
