You know that old saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” ? Well, I have a confession to make. I am a cover judger. In fact…I have many a book scattered throughout my house that serves absolutely no purpose beyond decor.
The only book I’ve read out of this bunch is “Pride and Prejudice”. True story. I love hardcover books and I hate those dust jackets. I’m forever ripping them off and throwing them away because it makes my bookshelf prettier to look at.
I am currently lusting after this collection of hardcover classics I saw over at Design*Sponge today by Coralie Bickford-Smith. I love the beautiful design and fun pops of color, but I love even more that Smith put such thought and effort into bringing design to such an unexpected place. Genius.
