So, this week has been like a blast from the past, and I’ve been feeling like a newlywed ♥.

BUT…it’s not due to roses and romance and wooing…although I seriously wish that were the case. Nope. I’ve been feeling like a newlywed because our dishwasher is still not mended. So…it’s back to hand washing, like when we were in our first/only apartment. It sucked then and still sucks now :(. I swear, my hands are in a constant state of pruney-ness. So gross. I wish I looked like this while washing dishes.

Dear Santa,
Please bring me a dishwasher! I would really, really, reeeeally appreciate it. I’m pretty sure if I don’t get one I’m going to turn grinchy soon, and I really don’t want to ruin everyone else’s Christmas spirit. Thanks.

Perhaps we should have given you a dishwasher instead of a trip? Nope, it was fun and a wonderful memory, besides, we believe in Santa right? Only 3 more days. Just keep believing!
oh lauren, i would kill for a dishwasher! we are totally in that stage right now with no dishwasher and handwashing everything. hence the reason i am like the most pathetic housewife EVER. if we had a dishwasher i would be much more productive. in fact i think i did a post about it one time..haha. anyway, hope santa gets you what you want!! you guys are so cute! i love that picture of you

AH! Our dishwasher has been broken since we moved into our house!!! It’s taken 4 months, 10 repair visits and 3 repair companies for the homeowners warranty to finally agree to replace it! We got our check yesterday! No more pruney hands!!!

oh dear! thats one of the few good things about renting I guess, you don’t have to fix things yourself. Sometimes fixing things is fun and easier, unless its expensive, then you definitely want someone to do it for you (I lease rentals for a living).

Too funny! My husband and I didn’t have a dishwasher until our 5th place together…if your relationship can survive the lack of a dishwasher, you can survive almost anything! 😉
I hope Santa hears your pleas!! Do have an appliance store that sells scratch and dents? Often the flaw is so minor you can’t even see it and the discount is huge!
I hate not having a dishwasher. I feel like I’m constantly doing dishes. And then, if I don’t do them for one meal, they start overflowing out of the sink and onto the counter. If we get that bigger apartment we applied for, it will have a dishwasher! Thank goodness!
this post made me laugh! back in the day they always looked so amazing and fresh. I am a hot mess and I don’t even clean or cook. Jacob does. I haven’t done a load of laundry in over 4 years. I only do towels at the salon. ..same with dishwashers i only load the dishes at salon.

a dishwasher would totally be on my list if we had room for one. sadly i think we’re doomed to handwash until we move out of our house. luckily, i do the cooking and my fiance does the washing.
aw love that newlywed picture of you two! My family doesn’t have a dishwasher and it is SO ANNOYING! My dad cooks and uses a million dishes so it’s my mom and me in the kitchen for hours with pruney hands galore! I hope you get yours figured out soon!
laughs…i hate dishwashing too! but sad to say, i do most of the cooking AND the washing up after meals with bf. sumtimes i get so grouchy that i’ll snap @ him @ the slightest opportunity =P so i tink u belong to the 2nd pic – the 1 who’s ready to ‘kill’!

by the way…….. i’m coping ok with the temporary separation with the bf. we kinda sms daily just to chit chat and guess what!? he’ll be stopping over singapore for a visit @ the end of the mth/early jan! its just a short 3days trip, but i’m already very excited! must start to plan what to do wif him during that 3 days ;D any suggestions??
