weekend whirlwind.

This weekend was maybe one of the busiest of my entire life.
Here’s what I did….
FRIDAY
*Went to a going away party and actually stayed out until 10:30!  That’s pretty late when you’re the only person not drinking at there’s karaoke involved.  I think I definitely earned a gold star for that.  Drinking ginger ale at the Doug Fir is always good times…but it’s even better when it’s free because the bartender feels bad that you’re pregnant and can’t have a real drink (even though you really want one).
SATURDAY
*Had breakfast at the in-laws.  My mother-in-law made delicious waffles just like at The Waffle Window – the 3B’s (bacon + basil + brie…+ apricot preserves).  SO good!  She dug out Craig & Cory’s baby books and I totally teared up reading all the cuteness.  Pregnancy hormones are making me super emotional and it was only the beginning.
*Went up to Mt. Hood to play photo assistant at a wedding all day.  The wedding was so pretty and tons of fun – made me wish I was a guest!  I also ended up crying during the toasts and the father-daughter dance.  Yes.  I am officially an emotional pregnancy cliche, but I couldn’t help it.  I’m actually going to have a daughter who may get married one day and have a father-daughter dance of her own and it sort of blew my mind.
*Got home and crawled into bed immediately.
SUNDAY
*Church, then watched football with Craig and some boys.
*Got spoiled by my mama.  She sprung for some new maternity jeans and cute shoes.  Yay for having a comfy belly, cause the belly band wasn’t going to cut it for much longer…and cute shoes are always good for one’s self-esteem :).
*Chris, Becca & Bennett came over and brought us muffins.  We love them (mostly our friends, but the muffins were pretty freaking delicious too!).
*Went to the Design*Sponge craft event at The Ace Hotel with Lisa.  I made a little onesie and a tote bag.  Here’s the photo evidence….

And there you have it.

Phew!!
I’m tired just thinking about all the busy-ness!

What did you do this weekend?
