fill in the blank friday.

It’s time for Fill in the Blank Friday!!!
Feel free to play along!

1.   The most selfless thing I’ve ever done was      getting pregnant. Even easy pregnancies like mine have uncomfortable moments, and it’s all for another person. I don’t know if it gets any more selfless than that…well…besides the actual birthing part of it  .

2.   When it comes to working out    I am a hater. I’ve never liked working out and probably never will. I like Zumba, but ever since I grew a giant belly I feel awkward gyrating my hips. I’m pretty sure it looks odd and the endless mirrors at the gym where I have to watch myself don’t make it any better. The only reason I go is for the results, although I only go like once a week now, but I suppose it’s better than zero times a week, right?      .

3.  A woman should always   dress in a way that makes her feel like the best version of herself…even if it’s just in jeans and an old t-shirt. Always dress in a way that makes you feel pretty and confident!   .

4. I wish I could    magically know how to design and sew clothes    and then I’d    whip up a closet full of clothes for myself   .

5.  A best friend is    someone who knows all your crap and will call you out on it, but loves you nonetheless .

6.  I can’t get enough of     all things chocolate these days.   .

7.  This weekend I am    going apple tasting with my mom and celebrating my grandma’s birthday  .

What are your weekend plans?

  4. Hey Lauren! Thanks for continuing to do this on Fridays, they’re so much fun! Enjoy your time with your Mom this weekend 🙂

  5. Oh how I wish I could sew my own clothes too! Your comment about Zumba is absolutely hilarious! That is one of the only workouts I really enjoy. I’m your newest follower and am excited to read more about your thrills of being a mom soon!

  6. Have a great weekend! I’m going to a winery for lunch and checking out a Pottery place! Fun 🙂

  7. Keep up with the Zumba, Lauren! My best friend had her son two months ago, and she did Zumba 3-4 times a week up until July. It kept her feeling and looking fantastic before AND after giving birth! She lost all of the baby weight after 2-3 weeks. As long as the doc gives you the ok, stay with it!

  8. I wish that I could magically make an entire new wardrobe for myself too!! 🙂
And totally want to try the Zumba workout. We have it and my mum has tried it, but I really want to too!!

  9. Yes! Motherhood and Pregnancy are the most selfless things a human can do. Agreed!

Apple tasting sounds like a blast! I wonder if we can do that around here. Hmm.

    Have a great weekend, Lauren!

  10. Apple tasting sounds like fun, I didn’t know that existed, I’ve heard of picking your apples, but I’ve never done it!

    Have fun!

  11. I bet you are the most adorable little Zumba-er ever:-) It is funny working out now, with a bump! It’ll be weird once we don’t have our bumps anymore, but soooo nice having babies out and about! Hope everything is going well. Happy happy weekend! xoxo

  12. What a fun tag! I was looking for something to do on Friday, but didn’t get to it until Saturday. Found you through Kallay.

  13. I am with you on the chocolate. I can’t get enough. I always want to go pick up delicious chocolate from Purdy’s or Godiva. That’s right, I need me some high end chocolate.
