Ummm….apparently Old Navy should just sponsor these Fern fashion posts, because most of her clothes are from there anyway. I always get questions about where I find her clothes and so often that’s the answer. The main reason: there’s one really close to my house (less than 5 minutes) and I hate going to the mall or small boutiques with a baby. Old Navy has carts and good sales, so they win. The trick is in the styling…finding unique ways to put together the outfit using items of clothing that a bajillion other babies are going to have.
Also, I felt like I should mention in this post that while Fern has a lot of clothes, a great many (read: most) of them are hand-me-downs and gifts. In fact, I didn’t buy a single thing she’s wearing today. All of these items were gifts from her grandmas. I just didn’t want everyone to think I go crazy and spend tons of money all the time, because I don’t. I realize that it really wouldn’t be anyone’s business anyway, but I just thought it was worth noting.

I almost asked for Old Navy gift cards for myself for Christmas just to shop for my daughter. I absolutely love all their clothes. Its one of the few places where I will buy clothes brand new, because I love them that much. About 98% of my daughter’s wardrobe is second-hand, for like $1-3 a piece.
