I’ve never been into surprises…they’re just not my thing – especially when it comes to babies. I figure that a baby in itself comes with enough surprises without being surprised about the gender and such. And baby names? Well, I’m not super secretive with them either. I like to choose them early and try them on for size. It helps me bond with my babies and makes it feel a little more real. Because of this, we’ve had a tentative name picked out for Baby Brother for a little while now and have been referring to him as such even though we hadn’t officially announced it. The more I use it, the more I like it.
I know some people don’t like to tell their baby name choices before their babies are born, in case people don’t like it, but I don’t mind. You can never please everyone with your baby name choice anyway.
So, in honor of the announcement of our little guy’s name, I had these shirts made from My Everyday Design. Yep…I’m that mom. But, I couldn’t resist. They’re so cute and the baby one is SO cute and tiny!

I love the name Clive! It’s on my list too because C.S. Lewis actually said some of my most favourite quotes in the world and I’m a quote junkie (I fall into the camp of don’t have kids yet and have a ridiculously long list going).
