Over the weekend I went to Sun River with my friend Casey. She and her mom and their neighbor Patti have a running date known as “Scrapbook Weekend”. Basically they take all of their scrapbooking supplies and head to their house in Sun River to relax and do nothing but scrapbook. This year I was invited along for this girl’s weekend. The only problem…. I don’t scrapbook. It sort of overwhelms me. I’m more the card-making type, so that’s just what I did. In between playing Hearts, watching movies, and eating way more food than I should’ve I completed somewhere around 20 cards.
These are my favorites…collage style with varying textures. Fun but time consuming. (P.S. I took the pictures vertically and can’t figure out how to flip them on blogger, so it looks like you’re just going to have to crane your neck to see these).
Lauren- I love these! So cute! Glad to see you put your artistic skills to good use. I was going to say, “That bird one with the tree is amazing!” but then I saw the dog one. And then I saw the jellyfish. And I couldn’t decide which one was more impressive than the others. Alas, they are all amazing. As are you.
