and i said, what about breakfast at tiffany’s

If you remember this song by the 90’s band Deep Blue Something, you will get this title. But, if not you must remember the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring the epitome of classic chic that is Audrey Hepburn. Well, if you didn’t know I completely love this movie, so I pretty much flipped when I saw this Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired engagement shoot. Be still my heart….

I love this all. And the peek of the signature Louboutin red soled heel is true perfection. See all the other costume changes and fun shots here. Enjoy!

  1. those are super adorable pictures. although i think i would feel a little silly dressing up as somebody else for my engagement photos, of all things. i think that is one time in your life when people are fairly interested in the actual people in the photo. still, very cute.

p.s. remember you’re already married? just checking.

  2. this could be my dream come true…simply beautiful.

  3. I love it I love it I love it! I adore Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and those are the funnest engagement photos I’ve ever seen.

  4. “You said I think I remember the film and as I recall we both kind of liked it” haha, totally remember that song. What a cool idea for engagements. I would still totally do it as a family shoot and put it on a Christmas card. You should too, and then we can send them to each other, even though we don’t know each other. Now if only I sent out Christmas cards…
    Sorry, long dorky comment.

  5. I wish I could convince my husband to do this for Christmas photos although I don’t send out cards either…I’m not quite that organized…. So I wish I could convince my husband to do this just because :). Then we can send out “just because Lauren wanted to play dress up” cards.

  6. I LOVE this! Glad I stumbled on your blog! 🙂

  7. the song, the movie and those photos are all amazingly perfect! 😀

  8. wow! this is quite possibly one of my favorite engagement sessions I’ve ever seen. I totally got your title too, I loved that song! And Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favorite movies too.
