Just got back from our mini-vaycay. It was lovely. But we missed Marley. Craig’s parents doggy-sat for us and when I went to pick her up she was the most excited I’ve ever seen. She usually gets super excited for Craig, but not quite as excited for me, so that made me happy. Now we’re just relaxing. I’m catching up on blog reading, and apparently you can miss a lot over a weekend!
I got two sweet awards, and I have quite a few new followers that I’ve yet to say hello to. I’m not very good about that…I try…but not quite awesome at it. Sorry. I’m very excited to have you new blog friends and I can’t wait to get to know you better!
Later tonight, or tomorrow I’ll post about our trip and post those awards, but for now, here are a couple of pretty things I was wishing for while antiquing this weekend……
That lamp rocks! Have you ever seen those Chinese apothecary cabinets? They look just like the card catalog, except each little drawer is labeled in Chinese. I soooo want one of those.
LOVE the last suitcase and the card catalog… i’ve been wanting an old mail caddy… but i would take the card catalog too!

i love the lamp and the Hostess with the Mostest plate. Is that a plate? Or just a sign? I can’t really tell, but love it regardless! And wow, you really do have a lot more followers! I remember you posting about being happy about the 30 something followers and I feel like that was not that long ago! lauren! i am glad you are back. i missed you! 🙂 all of these pictures are amazing! i have always wanted a vintage card catalog too! i saw one once and it was so expensive. sigh. i will keep my eye out for ya though! guess what? i’m watching elf right now. sean is asleep and earlier informed me that he has seen this movie once and didn’t really care for it. i think i might divorce him tomorrow.
anyway, i love you and think you are awesome and love that marley was so excited to see you! that is one of the reasons that i want a puppy so bad!
haha k i will keep trying. i watch it all the time and i think he is just trying to be a party pooper. i was the same with anchorman. i hated it at first but then fell in love. i just watched blades of glory again the other day. sean laughed at that. he might not admit it but he did. “i couldn’t love a human baby more than i love this brush..”

Oh I love that card case thing! It’s so cool. I can’t believe it’s so much though. Maybe look at flea markets or on Craigslist. I love the pink china too but it would probably be hard getting Matthew to agree on it haha
