my favorite thing about today #23

My favorite thing(s) about today were:
Baking Chocolate Hazelnut Thumbprint cookies with my mom.
So delicious.  Here is the recipe
(*note:  I had to add an extra egg yolk…the mixture was too dry).
(the lighting is crap, but they were yummy and…
only took 10 minutes to bake!)
Getting flowers from Craig.  He surprised me early for our anniversary :).
(He even made sure the bouquet had some weedy flowers thrown in there).
The anniversary present I got for Craig (well…really for both of us).
NEW SHEETS!
New sheets may not seem super exciting, but…I thought it was fitting.  The second year anniversary gift is cotton…enter sheets.  The first year was paper so I printed out our vows and framed them (hanging above my side of the bed in the picture).  PLUS….sheets are kind of romantic, since we do boot knock in bed after all, so there you go.
Hope you all had a happy Tuesday!
