trash to treasure.

Some people might look at an empty soda can and see a piece of trash (or rather something to be recycled!).

I see a pencil cup.

I just took of the top with a can opener and washed it out, and voila!  Pencil cup.  I love this soda… and I think the cans are so cute.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.  Maybe this is lame, but seriously…I couldn’t muster up any more craftiness after all the Christmas crafting I’ve been doing.

Enjoy!

  3. aww i love it! we used to find old pepsi cans on my great grandparents property and paint them and make pencil cups out of them! i still have mine 🙂 i love it. yours is so cute! and i am so getting a dog. Marley and Moses (that will be my dogs name) will be best friends when they eventually meet. and so will we 🙂 i seriously want to plan a trip there and sean and craig can go hunt and we can just go be awesome.

Oregon is one of my favorite places in the world. i want to live there someday..so maybe we will 🙂 hope you having a great day!

  4. oh i forgot to add that i spent all night looking at dogs and then this morning i put a puppy wallpaper on my computer at work, it was wearing a santa hat. cutest thing in the world. sean came in and i left the screen up so he could see it. i am trying to be subtle but do you think that was too obvious? 😉 oh well, i’m still hoping i get one for christmas!

well, i am hoping to get Moses soon. we have been wanting one for a while but worry about leaving a puppy alone while we are gone all day. i guess we just need to try it out and it will all fall into place. even if it is a girl i am going to name her that. it just feels right..ya know? i was thinking today about Marley (is that weird?) and how excited he is going to be to have a little buddy! Gus!

anyway, i hope you are having a fantastic christmas eve eve! love ya!
