My favorite thing(s) about today were:

{FINALLY seeing the Blindside with my family}
I lost at Scrabble by one freaking point! Lame. Craig beat my by only one point last time we played too :(. And as for “The Blindside”….it was SO good. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. It was definitely a great feel good movie. Other than that my weekend was pretty uneventful. I’ve been living vicariously through everyone else’s fun weekends on their blogs, so thanks for keeping me entertained guys!
Also, Keely does a weekly “Getting to Know You” post over at her blog, and I thought I’d join in this week. You should too! Here are this week’s Q’s & A’s:
1. Waffles, pancakes or french toast?
Waffles with ginger blueberry compote that Craig makes. It’s delicious.
2. Dream home..What would it look like?
It would be a great big farm house from the early 1900’s. It would be white with black shutters and have a red front door. It would have a great big front porch with a porch swing…a place to hang out and drink lemonade in the summer. It would have hard wood floors and an old brick fireplace. It would have a clawfoot tub and a bay window nook for me to curl up and read in. It would have a giant kitchen with an island to cook on, and TWO ovens. It would have about an acre of land with a great big tree to put a tree fort and a tire swing in. Can you tell I’ve thought this one through?
3. Favorite sport to watch during the Winter Olympics?
Snowboarding.
4. The first word that comes to mind when describing yourself?
Moody….at least that’s the word that would describe me today.
5. Dresses, pants (jeans, leggings, etc.) or skirts?
I would say jeans. I own about 20 pairs…even though I only wear about 5 of those pairs. The only other kind of pants I even own are leggings…which I also love.
6. What is your favorite time of day?
Evening…after dinner is made and we just cozy up and relax on the couch.
7. Beach or Mountains..which do you prefer?
I like both, but if I had to have a vacation home in one of these locations, I’d pick mountains.
8.Will you watch the Super Bowl?
Like I’d even have a choice. Boys and their football….

Ian and I went through a week-long spurt of playing Scrabble every night but I always beat him by like 70-80 points! And he takes Soooooooo long to make a move it takes us like 2 hours at least, to complete a game! But he still begs me to play… now we play cards every night!

i loved your answers on the getting to know you thing. your dreamhouse? sounds exactly like how i want mine to be. i love old houses with character. sean wants a brand new house. maybe we will have to meet in the middle somewhere.

My dear friend Lauren, Its 138am and I am wide awake. With feelings of hope, imagination, wonderment and, last of all, Excitement. I have just watch a Movie, on the Netflix Instant watch, But Im sure you could find it anywhere. Its awfully strange at the beginning, But, I assure you, its Magical. You, like I, have time to spare and I think you should watch this. its a little odd, Butwhen it comes to movies, I love them. They inspire me. So, Go, Watch and let me know if Im just plain crazy or, If it really is kind of magical in its own way.

I loved spending time with my little girl and her man. I was just a bit concerned about watching a feel good movie. but the truth is I thout it was great, I mean for a feel good movie, Just don’t tell any of my friends, I don’t want to loose my man card.
Losing in Scrabble by one point is horrible! I had that happen to me a couple of times, hated the feeling 😀
