two things i love…around my home.

First of all….today is the 3rd Wednesday of the month, which means you can find my guest post today over at The Skinny!  There’s a recipe for “healthy pasta” and some good fitness links.

Secondly…my friend Kassi over at Bacwoodsfern does a weekly post called “Two Things I Love Around My Home” and I’ve decided to play along again this week.  So, without further adieu….

Here’s today’s edition of
“Two Things I Love Around My Home”

{item #1.}

Craig’s grandma left this quilt here when we bought her house.  I love it, but sadly it’s been banished to our spare bedroom because it doesn’t match the rest of our decor :(.  If I have a little girl one day, I’m totally decorating her room around this quilt.  I completely adore it.

{item #2.}

This is our trail map from snowboarding on our honeymoon in Whistler B.C.   I love it because it reminds me of the fun times we had on our honeymoon….our most exciting vacation to date.

If you’d like to join in on “Two Things I Love Around My Home”, please do and link it back here (using the McLinky) because I know Kassi would love to see your “two things” too!  And, please leave me a comment with your link so I can go check it out too!

Happy Wednesday!
The week is halfway over!

  29. That quilt is amazing. Grandmas are the best!

  30. Lauren – LOVE both of your 2 things! Handmade, homemade quilts aren’t exactly tradition in Chinese culture so it’s amazing when I see others with an actual “made with love” quilt! So cute if you have a daughter!

    And the framed Whistler map is freaking cool! Wish I had done that with one of our honeymoon maps or something. Will have to file this idea and copy it one day!
