Weekends always go by so quickly.
Far too quickly for my liking.
Here’s how I spent this one……….
FRIDAY:
{dinner with the in-laws}
at The Farm Cafe.
Then came home and watched Project Runway. We watch it every Friday because it’s not on ’til 10:00 on Thursday night, and we’re old and like to go to bed early. Loved Jonathan’s winning design.
SATURDAY:
Cleaned my house. So exciting. I know.
Then went shopping with my friends
James & Ash.
{Really wanted these shoes.}
{bought these instead.}
may take them back.
white heels are apparently hard to match….
with anything.
Got this pretty little card and a heart charm
in the mail from my sweet friend Katie.
Went on a double date with my friend Liz & her bf.
At at La Buca. Great Italian comfort food.
Looks deceptively expensive, but it’s cheap!
SUNDAY:
Did a little photo shoot in the afternoon.
I’ll blog about this later.
Then….went to the Remodeling & Renovating show
with my parents. We saw a lot of this….
….but also some super cool pink tools.
I wanted them.
I didn’t think Craig would go for it though.
Now we’re just watching the Blazer game (that’s NBA basketball if you didn’t know).

I haven’t watched Project Runway at all this season. I don’t know, I guess I’ve just gotten sort of bored with it.
I bought those same green shoes, and I absolutely love them, all of the colors, but I ended up taking them back. It kinda sucks having really small feet because even though shoes fit, they can sometimes look too big, such was the case with those flats 🙁

I vote for the green flats. I’m a heals girl, but have decided shoes, like so much else, need to be balanced (it also is a good way to justify 2 pairs). I’m glad you had a good weekend…mine was spent at work, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

It sounds like you had a great weekend. You’re brave getting those white heels. I think I have one pair and I’ve only worn them a couple times. But neutral colored dresses (beiges, pinks, yellows) could look good with them !

As much as I love those green shoes, the white shoes are amazing. The lovely thing about white shoes is that they don’t necessarily have to perfectly match what you wear — and they can add great “pop” to any outfit. 🙂

i keep having the problem lately that i go out to buy a pair of sensible black shoes but keep coming back with ones that are much more colourful but much less practical!
