baby fever.

Dear Someone I know (slash) anyone I know:
Please have a baby so I can have a sweet, squirmy, screamy little bundle to buy cute things for and a good excuse to look at lovely baby things.

Love,

Lauren.

I might buy you a cute lamp
like this for your little one.
Or help you decorate a cute room like this.
….or this.
….or this.
and I’d probably buy some baby Vans
for your bundle.

and tiny TOMS are just a given.
since they’re a must with Portland weather.
cute non-babyish bibs would make the list.
a cute little swimsuit for your girl.
or maybe a dress.
maybe this little giraffe for
when the babe is teething.
or a teepee for you guys to play in.
and I promise NEVER to buy
your little one anything Ed Hardy.
or Crocs.
no matter how “easy” they may be.
or this.
or anything with stupid sayings on it.
like this.
or this.
and DEFINITELY not this.

SO….friends (slash) relatives (slash) anyone I know….please get on the baby-making.
K, thanks.

xo

P.S. I babysat the cutest kids ever last night…. hence this little bout of baby fever.

Comments

  1. I love baby vans!! & that bib is really neet! Cute stuff! 🙂

  2. oh I love that yellow striped ceiling in the nursery! but not just for a nursery! i might have to steal that idea in my future house! it really brightens up the space!

cute clothes too! i love the baby wellies!

  3. I couldn’t agree with you more! We aren’t on the baby making train yet, however, I’m dying for some friends or relatives to get on board too!

  4. Ed Hardy stuff = terrible, YUCK, ew.

But now that you’ve posted this, everyone will want to know when you two plan on having your little babies!

  5. ha ha! isn’t it great! I’m going crazy over all the baby girl stuff around here!

  6. Oh Lauren I adore this post! I spend so very long choosing gifts for my nieces and nephews and know exactly how you feel. I had plans for my nieces’ fourth birthday pressie months in advance – but there really are some exquisite things out there aren’t they? You chose some fabulous ones. xx

  7. so just in case you need more cute baby things to look at i also have baby fever and hence my last post full of cuteness! love the post

  8. I have been trying to convince my hubby that we should have a baby, even though I told him that he had to promise me to not even start trying until we had been married a year. Needless to say he is throughly confused on what he should do. 🙂 Poor guy. I just want a baby so bad. 🙂

  9. i approve of your baby taste, therefore, when i’m expecting i will designate you as an “aunt” or something of equal status!

  10. Lauren, it’s a great idea but let’s have the deal in this way: why don’t YOU have a cute baby so we can love him/her and buy pretty stuff for him/her :)))??

    xoxo

  11. Ohhh I have had baby fever for a few months now… My husband tells me I have to wait, but gaaaa the little things are soo cute!

  12. Well, we’ll be coming out in about a week. And you are always more than welcome to supply the big O with such things. Haha.

  13. Baby shoes are so cute! I sigh over them everytime I pass a Journey’s.

  14. haha. Those are adorable! and I feel the SAME way – soooo baby hungry!

  15. I got my baby goddaughter a pair of green baby hunter boots, so cute!

  16. haha i love this post.. and i can’t help but hope that you somewhat had me in mind when you found the cute elephant stuff! i love it!! sean and i laughed sooo hard at the baby ed hardy stuff.. seriously. we went to this ed hardy store in las vegas and it was ridiculous. there were about 100 people crammed in this tiny store and we only went in just to see what it was like. we can’t stand ed hardy..and how sad would that be for a kid to have to wear it! they have no choice! maybe i am more sad actually for the people that do have a choice..anywho..love all the stuff you picked… maybe we should have a baby soon.. 🙂 jk..maybe you should! or we both could at the same time! haha. love you girl..hope you had a great weekend! thanks for your sweet comment on our facebook picture! my sister is editing the rest, so hopefully we will have a lot more to show soon! love ya lo!

  17. once i get married, i’ll work on the whole baby thing!! all of this stuff is soooo cute!!

  18. oh the nurseries and hunter wellies are SO cute! my cousin is having a baby so i’ve spent days scouring etsy in search of cute things such as these!

  19. Ugh, man, all this stuff is making me want a baby! Not JUST so I can buy cute baby stuff (although that is SO part of it!) but because I have major baby fever right now.

  20. So many adorable things! This baby fever may be contagious.

  21. Too cute, luv the baby finds. 🙂

  22. oh dear, babysitting always brings on a case of baby fever for me, too, and this post doesn’t help either! I so want to be an auntie so I can borrow my bro’s babe anytime I get the itch. Thanks for the cute roundup of goodies!

  23. Oh Lauren! Such cute cute things! I love the rooms!
