So….
I hope you guys won’t hate me….
But yesterday, when I said “Check back tomorrow for Fill in the Blank Friday!”…..
I lied.
Today will not be Fill in the Blank Friday….due to the fact that I have to go pack and don’t have time to come up with creative questions. Really you should be glad that I’m not writing any fill in the blanks, because they’d probably suck, with me being so distracted. I promise to make it up to you next week.
What do I have to pack for you ask?
Well….just a little impromptu road trip (sprung on me at 1:00 this afternoon – actually yesterday by the time you read this scheduled post! Just take a second to imagine how my type-A-self responded to this at first….). We’re heading down to:
“Hoot n’ Shoot”
Trust me….I didn’t know this is what it was called when I agreed to go. We’ll be taking our 1981 Mercedes Gelandewagen (G-Wagon) on a road trip to Northern California. This is a photo of it.
Once we get there we’ll hang out with other G-Wagon enthusiasts and bond over a love of these German tanks. Apparently skeet shooting and 4-bying is a part of the bonding. Not sure. Doesn’t this sound like a weekend, right up my alley? OK….maybe not so much, but I really love my husband and I’m excited about going on a road trip with him….even if it is just to do “boy stuff”. We have pretty fun road trips. AND….I’ve planned a detour to In-N-Out Burger (we don’t have one in Oregon) so that’ll be fun.
OK….that’s it. Off to pack!

Mmmm In-n-Out! Why don’t they have them here in Oregon 🙁 I miss it so much, and every time we drive to Cali it’s our first stop!!!! I went there last weekend and it was like being reunited with a wonderfully tasty, old friend :p

oh- i lived in northern california for 5 years during college…. i miss it. it is beautiful. i need a sf trip and some in-n- out, most definitely. we don’t have one in colorado either 🙁
I wish they had those for people who drive funny cars, like Geo Metros. A big Geo Metro convention.
