This weekend….
(Friday to be exact)
I attended my very first fashion show
with one of my most favorite people:
my lovely friend Jamie.
We got our makeup done before we went at the MAC counter at Nordstrom – because we’re inept at makeup. We even got fake eyelashes and I got the brightest shade of pink lipstick ever, but it was so pretty (it’s called Impassioned in case you’re curious). Oh….AND the girl who did Jamie’s makeup looked and sounded just like Paulette from Legally Blonde.
We were super classy and changed into our outfits for the show in the Nordstrom bathroom. Oh yeah….that’s how we roll. We may or may not have planned our outfits ahead of time. I think it was well worth it though. Jamie looked so ridiculously chic.
We got to the show early to people watch.
We tried to look cool sitting nonchalantly at the bar; Jamie drinking wine and me drinking a whiskey sour.
Then the show started.
One of my favorites was Heather Treadway.
All of the models danced down the runway and
it was so fun. The clothes were great too.

way people dress while there.
As comfy on their couch as they are off of it.
Oh…and yes….
those are bags of chips and giant Big Gulps.
The irony was brilliant.
Phew!
That was a lot of photos and a lot of standing in uncomfortable shoes. Afterward at 11:30 all I wanted to eat was greasy breakfast food and all Jamie wanted was a greasy burger. All dressed up in a greasy spoon diner: The Original Hot Cake House….it was perfection.
Now I want to go to every fashion show.
Sign me up.

Wow that looked like so much fun! I want to go to one now. The OSU recycled fashion show and some wedding dress ones are all I’ve really done. Love the makeup! I had the MAC store at bridgeport try some stuff on me the other day..which is bad because I end up buying a ton!
