ebel…what???

Ebelskivers.

Heard of them?

Well…I hadn’t, until I stumbled upon these delicious looking donut holes filled with chocolate over at Frilly Milly Events.  Yum!  I like chocolate AND donuts, so these look like they’d be right up my alley.

Come to find out ebelskivers are not donuts, but are in fact a tasty treat native to Denmark.  They are light, puffy pancakes filled with fruit, chocolate, jam or cheese .  Even better…. these little gems in the photo were filled with Nutella-Banana goodness.  I must make these. I can only just begin to imagine the heavenly taste in my mouth.

Here’s the recipe in case this heavenly treat sounds like something you’d like to make:
*Note:  If you want to make ebelskivers you’ll need a special pan like this:
{Here’s a cheap on from Target.}
Happy eating!

    If you love Nutella, then you should try this:

    2-turn over and spread Nutella on the un-cinnamon side
    3-slice a banana on top
