I’m home!
You may not have known I was gone because I was organized (for once!) and scheduled my posts ahead of time, but I’m back nonetheless. Craig and I were road tripping for the past week and a half and it was SO fun! I have tons of stories to tell – probably a week’s worth of blog posts – but, for now I’m just basking in being home. Vacations are fun, but I missed my home. Here are a few things that I missed……
*Marley!!! I was going crazy being away from her!
*My bed and my pillow.
*Kashi Go Lean cereal and a banana for breakfast every day.
*Food that doesn’t come from a drive-thru.
*My closet and getting to choose between more than four pairs of shoes each day.
*DVR’d shows.
*Portland weather.
*Good coffee! I only had good coffee a few times on this trip. We’re spoiled here!
*Working out. I haven’t worked out in two-and-a-half weeks! Bad news.
*My mommy and the rest of my family, but mostly my mom and our Tuesday tea dates.
*Friends!
It’s good to be home.

I always miss Monte SO MUCH when we go somewhere without him. And then I find myself talking about him like crazy, which makes me miss him more.

I love vacations, but returning home is wonderful. There’s nothing like being with your pets, your family, your bed, and a bit of routine. Glad you had a good time, can’t wait to hear how it went!

It’s always the best to come home from a nice vacation. That last day it seems you really end up being ready to just be home. Glad your back. And yes, holy 1000 followers, congrats.
I love travelling but I always miss my house and my bed. I usually at least take my pillow with me.
