I should be packing now.
Instead I’m watching Project Runway
and making a shirt.
It’s to wear to the football game we’re going to on Saturday. It’s a play on “Damn it feels good to be a gangster” (remember it from “Office Space”?). My alma mater is Oregon State University and our mascot is the Benny the beaver….hence the play on words “Dam is feels good to be a beaver”….like as in beaver dam. Get it? I thought I was being quite clever :).
OK.

our wedding is this weekend in fort worth and the hotel where we’re having the reception is SWARMING with beavers fans. have to say though, i’m a TCU alum and proud horned frog, but that is a cute shirt!! 🙂 have fun watching the game!

That is so cute! Now I sorta wish that my school’s mascot had been a beaver. I would’ve been teased a lot from my dad and my guy friends but it would be worth it to wear a shirt that said that!

I LOVE it! 🙂 We are now in the little town of Minot, North Dakota, and Minot State University’s mascot is a beaver… their school support tees sport a little beaver chewing on a stick with the saying “Dam Right I’m a Beaver!”.. When I first saw them I busted out laughing… Love it. 😉 Yours is a very clever spin on it- good job!
