the happiest day of my life.

After reading the title of this post, you probably assumed that I was going to be blogging about my wedding day, or perhaps announcing that I am with child or that Marley had a litter of puppies or that I was just awarded a lifetime supply of hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows.

Well….sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not preggo, Marley is spayed and I haven’t entered any contests where the grand prize is hot chocolate.  AND….although my wedding day was a terribly happy day, it pales in comparison to today.

Tomorrow is….drum roll please……

The day H&M finally opens in Portland.
I could cry from happiness.

(OK…I’m totally being dramatic….my wedding day was way better, but I had to draw you in and convey my deep emotion over this occurrence.)

{read more about the opening here.}

I am super excited for all the reasonably priced loveliness that awaits me behind the magical doors where many enter, but few leave without heaps of shopping bags.  I don’t even care that anything I buy is sure to be worn by every other Portlander I encounter for the next year because, obviously I am not the only one whose been anxiously awaiting this opening….I’m just happy that H&M finally decided to grace Portland with its beautiful, glorious presence.

That is all.

End ranting praises.

Oh….and did I mention I have the day off?  It’s like the cosmic forces of shopping all aligned perfectly for me.

OK.  Now I’m real done.

For real.
