It’s been so cold lately and I kind of, sort of, REALLY hate the cold. All I want is to go to the farmer’s market, bare-legged in a skirt and ballet flats and stock up on ripe, red raspberries and flowers wrapped in brown paper while basking in the sunshine and eating a popsicle. Instead I feel lethargic and cold and all I want to do is stay in bed wrapped in a blanket and wearing yoga pants. Today’s blanks are about just that….. 1. Winter is dark and bleak and cold and miserable. It’s only redeeming value lies in Christmas and comfort foods and layered clothing .
2. Summer is warm and bright and fresh and lovely. It’s redeeming values are that all the produce is perfect, I get some color in my cheeks, I can wear skirts non-stop, backyard BBQs and my birthday is in summer 🙂 .
3. If it were summer instead of winter right now I’d go to the farmer’s market and eat my weight in fresh blueberries and then come home to lay in the sun, read magazines while drinking a glass of peach iced tea. Then I’d have friends over for an outdoor BBQ and fire pit s’mores .
4. My favorite thing to do in winter is curl up on the couch under a cuddly blanket with Craig while eating comfort foods and watching TV series on DVD .
5. My favorite thing to do in summer is BBQ with friends and eat dinner outside .
6. The ideal outfit for a sunny summer day is a light cotton sundress, ballet flats and sunglasses .
7. The ideal outfit for a frigid winter day is thin layers….upon layers, upon layers. Usually this involves thick tights, tall socks skirts and cardigans .

I too hate the cold. I’ve spent more time in bed with multiple comforters the last few days than I have in the last 6 months. Ugh! Brrrrr! Hopefully the weather warms up soon! Thanks for some lovely questions =)
Okay you really just made me miss Summer. Well kind of. Summer here is about 110ish. You should visit AZ during the cold months. Its really not too bad. 75 and sunny on Christmas.
Reading magazines and sipping peach iced tea sounds fabulous right about now. We got a Keurig and I am so excited to use it’s iced tea cups come summer! Great FITBF!

TGIF for sure. i’m tired of winter. can’t wait til spring (myy birthday!) and i feel that my coat doesn’t even want to keep me warm anymore. like it retired or something… sigh.
I kind of love winter because I love to layer so much. Also, I can’t really go tight-less ever because my legs are so white. I mean, they are almost transparent. It’s not a good look.

Aw, I’m sorry you’re hating winter. 🙁 I used to hate it too until I learned to ski! Now I have a redeeming quality for winter. In addition to the thick socks and cozy sweaters. 🙂
