Today’s post is for a series I was asked to be a part of by Sutton over at The Dainy Dish. When she told me the series would be “Spring Fever Week” I was beyond thrilled! Am I the only one who is beyond sick of winter??? I’m guessing not. And what better way to get into the spirit of spring than with new elements for your wardrobe? OK, OK…maybe a little more sun here in my dreary neck of the woods (AKA Portland, Oregon), but in the absence of consistently sunny weather, I’ll settle for pretty fashions.

You can be sure that these are trends that will definitely be making their way into my hallway fashions rotation. And who knows….once the weather cooperates you just might be seeing some of these items being photographed outdoors! *GASP!* Haha! Seriously….I need some sun in my life stat!

These are definitely some trends I can get into! Especially the color blocking and the wide leg trousers. Wide leg jeans are my absolute favorite to wear!

i’ve had plenty of sun in my life, and one day last week even broke a record…85 degrees!
i’m all over clogs and layered jewelry (mainly bracelets, because i feel like mr. t with layered necklaces even though i like them on other people).

I have been seeing clogs everywhere lately. They are cute, but sadly, just not that practical for me. I don’t need shoes that make me a full 7″ taller than my husband and although I am resisting the urge I pretty much just want to wear sweats and slippers all the time right now. Flat boots and Toms are kind of my go to shoes at the moment.
They are all so cute but I especially like the stripped dress. So very cute!! Great post and great blog!!!!

Color blocking is key for spring. I think I finally have an idea of how to wear my purple jeans.
