outfit post: leopards in the park.

This look is what I like to call:
“Leopards in the Park”.

I don’t wear a lot of animal prints, but I rather like this skirt and it didn’t hurt that I picked it up on the clearance rack for a mere $6.  Clearance racks make me happy.

tank: Old Navy
cardigan: Silence & Noise
belt: F21
skirt: Target
shoes: Payless
bracelets: borrowed from my friend Jamie

Hooray for sunny days and bare legs!

  1. Hooray!!
    Love this outfit!
But the necklace is my favorite!!

  2. I love it paired with the red. Cute!

  3. What a good deal you got on the skirt! You are truly bargain hunter! Is it only noticing that your lipstick color matches with the tank, shoes, and bracelet?

  4. Super cute paired with the orange!!!

  5. You look awesome, love that skirt!

  6. LOVING that skirt! I often times feel like people go over the top with an animal print but this is SPOT ON! Love how you kept the rest of yourself SIMPLE and let the print do the talking…LOVE it!

  8. Thank you for the outfit posts! I love them- you are inspiring me!

  9. I don’t usuall dress with a lot of ‘flair.’ Things like rhinestones, grommits, exposed zippers, ect don’t make it into my very basic wardrobe. Leopard print would probably fall into that category – but there is something just kind of classic about it, as silly as it sounds. It always makes me feel like a 50’s pinup. And I love pairing it with red! This look is great, Lauren.

  10. wow I am super jealous of that skirt find.. $6! and it’s so cute! I love animal prints, especially leopard, but only when worn like you’re doing here, very subtle and with bright colors 🙂

  11. I love the skirt and I have never worn leopard print in my life (it scares me, I don’t know why) But that one is fabulous, it’s a more subtle print. Looks fabulous with the orangey red!

  12. You are a picture of Spring for sure! I do love the shoes and always enjoy seeing how gals put outfits together. Fun!

    Blessings!

  14. I love the pop of color with your shoes and your shirt, and that they are like the same color, which is hard to find!

  15. Pretty, pretty! Who’s been taking your photos?

  16. and hooray for red shoes! i’m sort of in love with red for the spring, and you wear it great!
