his & hers: birthday edition.

Craig’s birthday is tomorrow.
Our birthdays are exactly one year and one week apart.
BUT…
Even though our birth-dates are close together, it doesn’t mean we like to celebrate the same way.  So, I thought I’d do a “his & hers” (inspired by Hooray Design and Pure and Noble) birthday edition.
His Birthday:
Food of choice
Four pieces of Hot Lips pepperoni pizza, my own homemade fries, one order of Pok Pok’s spicy fish sauce wings, and one amber ale marinated chicken burger.
Birthday dessert of choice:
Chicken and Waffles from Screen Door.
Activity of choice:
Eating and going to a sporting event.
Her Birthday:
Food of choice
Pok Pok or food carts.  I actually wanted to go to Beast this year, but their prefixe menu would’ve been lame with all my pregnancy food restrictions.  Maybe next year.
Birthday dessert of choice:
The Sugar Cube or ice cream from Ruby Jewel
Activity of choice:
Something outside with friends.
Are you and your honey similar or different in the way you celebrate birthdays?

xo
Lauren

P.S. If you’d like to see more photos from our gender reveal party for Baby Hartmann, I posted them over at Babble today (See them here).

  1. Both of those sound awesome! My hubby would golf all day for his bday and I’d love breakfast out with friends!

  2. Mine would prefer beer and… more beer. I’d prefer I nice dinner out with good friends lol.

  3. i love both of your birthdays;

  5. I think I’d enjoy any of your bday celebrations. My husband doesn’t like bdays. He says after 25 we are just getting old haha. I was get more excited than him planning his bday parties, which always include sushi (it has become our tradition!)

    xo, Ana

  6. Congrats on your baby girl! Your reveal party video was adorable!!!

  7. It cracks me up how much food Craig requests for his birthday. His metabolism must be off the charts.
