My birthday is on Friday.
I usually love birthdays…especially my own, but for some reason this year is a little less exciting, which kinda bums me out. I’m not really sure why it’s so anti-climactic this time around (maybe I’m just not ready to be 27…), but despite that, I decided to come up with a little birthday wish list anyway. Nothing cheers me up like a little dreaming :).
So…just what’s on my wish list?

An infinity sign added to my wedding band tattoo
{although it will have to wait until after the baby arrives}
A little vacation to Vancouver B.C. where Craig and I can go to this marriage retreat
and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation (and delicious food!) at this beautiful island.
Dessert at The Sugar Cube
Definitely not one of my most extravagant wish lists, but fun to make just the same.
Everything else on my list would be baby-related (like any one of these rocking chairs or sweet stuffed animals), but I’m going to refrain from adding those items, because the baby’s not even here yet, so I’m allowed to be a little selfish and ego-centric for now. It’s MY birthday afterall and not the baby’s. Don’t worry baby. You’ll get your own day on January 21st(ish)…and probably every other day thereafter as well :).

I have the button up dress in the first picture, and let me tell you, you need it!! It’s super duper adorable and I love to wear the belt with other dresses too! It covers my huge belly and is probably my favorite piece of maternity clothing!! I mean, I did only buy like…4 things, but still, my favorite!

Happy Birthday! Mine was in July and I got a Nordstrom gift card. I walked around aimlessly for a long time because they didn’t have the shoes I wanted and they don’t carry maternity clothes. But, I ended up finding cute (pregnancy friendly) pieces that will work after the baby, too. I felt pretty good after that shopping trip. It has been a while since I have gotten anything new for myself.
