This is what I wore on my birthday.
I’ve gotten out of the habit of taking outfit shots, so sorry there aren’t any close-up shots. I sort of forgot. I’ve been dressing rather like a slouch these days with nothing in my closet fitting quite right (thanks Baby). So, for my birthday I did a little shopping with my mom. I tried on a couple of maternity items, but they were too big, so I just went with this cute lace top from tried-and-true Forever 21. It’s got a little stretch and it’s actually cut rather like a maternity shirt, so I should be able to wear it for awhile yet. It was nice feeling cute and pulled together for once. It’s a little hard to be stylish when you just feel bloated all the time :(. OK…enough of the pity party…here’s my outfit!

you guys are adorable! i’m sure your bump will show up in no time! My friend meghan also lives in Portland and is preggers and her bump is pretty non-existent as well (and she wants one so bad!). She’s 22 weeks now! I hear they show up overnight 🙂

Cute top! I only have 7 weeks left and I am plenty big, but I have still only bought like 4 maternity items. I have found that it isn’t really necessary, you can make a lot of non-maternity items work.
You look cute! I buy all of my ‘maternity’ clothes at Forever 21 too! I just look for loose fitting blouses. Definitely try on the tube tops too! 🙂
