i hope we have a little fighter.

I found this quote from Charlotte’s Web the other day:
If you can’t read it, it says:
“…Fern was up at daylight trying to rid the world of injustice.”
I rather like this.
I hope that our little Fern is a fighter – trying to rid the world of injustice.  I hope she stands up for the things that are right.  If she’s anything like her daddy I know she will.  I am already praying for her that she will be kind and thoughtful and that she will love others.  I pray that she will also grow to know and love Jesus.  I pray that we will be able to teach her about these things and be good examples for her.
It’s a little overwhelming to think about the huge responsibilities that parenting brings, but we’re so incredibly excited to take on the challenges!
Thanks for letting me share my mama-to-be heart today.  I think pregnancy is making me a little extra sappy lately, but I guess that’s to be expected.
