I’ve always wanted to smoke an old man pipe.
Not because I actually want to smoke, but because I love the smell of pipe tobacco. That warm, woodsy, vanilla smell. Mmmmm. When I was a kid, I used to hang out in the pipe tobacco aisle at the drug store, just to enjoy its aroma.
But, I recently made a discovery that will keep me from having to creep around in drug stores and/or pick up a smoking habit.
While at Flutter the other day, I stumbled upon West Third Brand’s Tonic! Body Spray in their Tobacco 1812 sent and it smells amazing! It satiates my love for the scent of pipe tobacco and is beyond perfect as a winter scent. West Third Brand did a fabulous job of recreating the scent in a way that it true to the scent of pipe tobacco, but not so intense that it doesn’t translate into something you actually want to spray on your body. I know it sounds weird, but it’s seriously AMAZING!
Since Christmas is just around the corner and we’ve got plenty of other upcoming expenditures ahead (apparently baby’s are a real money pit), I refrained from spending $28 on this, but now I’m wishing I had.

Oooh, I love the smell of tobacco, too. My grandpa smoked up during my childhood, and it always reminds me of him, now. I might have to check this cologne out.

ooooo this sounds wonderful! I should buy some especially since my husband loves the smell of pipe tobacco (we have even purchased a pipe tobacco candle and tried heating pipe tobacco on the stove like potporri to get the scent lol)
Oh and baby’s aren’t as big of a money pit as people would have you believe(though you are being wise to save). The don’t cost a fortune if you are careful and don’t buy every single gadget around, you breastfeed, and cloth diaper (with the more inexpensive pre-folds). Of course having super excited grandparents helps out too hehe 😀

Lauren….I too definitely love the smell of pipe smoke! When I was a kid I had an uncle that smoked a pipe, and to me it always smelled like extra good waffle cones. I always left his house wanting ice cream.
