that this is our new yard.
We got a house!!
And I’m really excited about it.
We did most of our packing over the weekend and did unloading today. We still have another trip to make later this week, but we’re almost done!
The house is a fixer-upper for sure, but the layout is perfect and it’s going to be an amazing house for entertaining. The yard is massive!! It’s got a chicken coop and a big deck and a place for a hot tub. See how far back it goes? I’m pretty sure it’s even bigger than the pictures portray. I’m smitten. It feels like we’re living in the woods even though we’re not…the best of both worlds.
I’m enjoying imagining Fern and all of our friend’s kids running around in this yard and envisioning the awesome dinner parties we’ll be able to have during the summers. So fun!
Anyway…off to do some final packing, but wanted to share!

beautiful yard. I think its a good idea to have a place that needs a lot of fixing, becuase then the house is more YOU than the previous people, and you get to add YOUR touches to really personalize it.Plus, that makes for lots of projects. =) hope you get settled in safely and comfortably. =)

Congrats — that yard is SO stinkin cute!! I have to admit, I’m jealous; I love my little patio and I use it all time, but lately I’ve been longing for a little yard. Yours looks absolutely fantastic.
I’d say it’s definitely bigger than the picture shows…that treeline pretty much cuts it in half right? I’m so excited for summer bbqs regardless of where they are at, but I LOVE all the space for the kids in your new yard! Yay!
