Dear Fern,
Today is Mother’s Day and it’s my first thanks to you. I am so thankful that I am your mommy.
You are such a joy in my life. I live for your bright sunshiney face each morning and your sweet babbling and happy personality. When I am away from you I miss you and when I look at you I can’t believe how perfect you are. I know that I am a bit biased, but you really are lovely.
Sometimes I screw up and get frustrated, but thankfully your memory is short and without fail you are smiling at me again before I know it.
I feel so blessed that God has entrusted you to me and I promise that I will always try my best to do what’s right for you and to lead you in the way you should go.

that last pic is SO SWEET & CUTE! I love it when you guys come over now because Fern always gives a big smile when you take her out of her car seat! It’s so fun watching her grow! It’s pretty special doing life with other mama’s because you start to love their babies too!
