Feeling inspired by yesterday’s beautiful sunny day that we spent at the lake, I decided that today’s blank needed about summer and it needed to be open-ended and full of possibilities like summer itself.
Therefore, the only starter you’re getting this week is the word itself:
Summer.
Come up with whatever you want summer-related. You can write about a favorite summer memory, what associations you have with summer, a favorite summer vacation, photos reminiscent of summer, etc., etc….

Friends, food, fun, summer.
I haven’t written a haiku since maybe 5th grade and it was kinda fun. Can’t wait to see how your creative juices flow!

When I was young my family and I used to go camping in the summer. Even though it has been YEARS since I’ve been camping I still think about the summers whenever the days get long and warm.
