This weekend we went to the beach.
While we were there, Fern proved yet again that she really is part fish. She couldn’t resist the lure of the Pacific Ocean, despite the less than warm weather. I have a sneaking suspicion this girl is going to day dream about being a mermaid one day. There was a split second where me in all my Type-A’ish-ness thought twice about letting her get soaked in the chilly water, but she’s only going to be young and and this care-free once, so the pants came off and she was thrilled about it.
After her little dip in the sea, Daddy came to her rescue and wrapped her up in his flannel.
