Every time I make these gift guides I forget how much work they are! But, I know I always love seeing other people’s gift guides to get ideas for my kids, so I figured other people probably enjoy them too. The items on this list are great for babies and/or toddlers. You’ll be able to tell from the products as you go through them if they’ll be age appropriate for your particularly child, but I would say most of these are recommended for up to 4-year-olds – though some (like the Play-Doh) are obviously great for even older kids too.
1. Schleich My First Farm Animals
We are big fans of Schleich figurines around here and have quite a few. Definitely recommend them for your little ones. They would make perfect stocking stuffers too! I’m partial to their Farm World collection, but they have dinosaurs, jungle animals, mermaids and a TON of others!
2. Fly Bike Foldable Tricycle
We have one of these little bikes and it’s the best. We actually kept it as an indoor bike when we first got it and it was a great way to help the kids get some energy out during the winter months of being stuck indoors
3. Modern Bunny Stacking Toy
This little bunny stacker is a great gift that will not only provide a little one with a whole lot of entertainment, but will look good doing it. It’s so cute!

4. L’ovedbaby Organic Cotton Footed Overall
If you or someone you know has a little baby on their gift list these sleepers are a MUST. So soft, cozy and sweet – perfect for soaking up those infant snuggles and scents! This mauve color is just the loveliest shade of blush that even the most pink-averse girl mom can love.
5. Play-Doh 36 Can Mega Pack
I know some parents can’t stand Play-Doh, but I’ve discovered the secret to making it mess-free: a vinyl table cloth! Whenever we do play dough I just lay a vinyl table cloth out (this black & white plaid one would be perfect – the dark color will hide stains for other artistic endeavors too!), so I can just dump all the Play-Doh crumbs easily into the trash when my kids are finished. I’m totally Type-A and it works like a charm – and with this many colors of dough, my kids would be entertained for ages!
6. Toddler Sk8Hi Zips
The Vans Sk8Hi shoes are hands down my absolute favorite kids shoes – especially the baby/toddler variety. They make adorable crib shoes if you have a tiny baby to shop for, but the ones pictured start at size 4 and go up to size 10 and are SO easy to get on and still look super cute and like real lace-ups. The laces are stretchy and the zipper in back makes getting them on a breeze! They have a ton of fun colors and prints too, though I’m rather partial to the classic black.
7. One Thousand Things, Learn Your First Words With Little Mouse
A word book is a great gift for a baby or toddler who is building up their vocabulary and mine have always loved poring over all the pictures in ours and this one has the loveliest illustrations by Anna Koveces that you and your little one can both appreciate.
8. Farmer’s Market Playtime Kit
This little farmer’s market play set comes with soft food and a tote bag that folds out to be a farm stand! The soft toys are perfect for baby ages, but will also be much beloved as a child gets bigger and can use the set for imaginative play!

9. Schoenhut My First Piano
I always wanted one of these for our kids, but somehow never got one for any of our kids. Since we have an actual baby grand that everyone already plinks on at our house, it feels a bit superfluous, but it’s so dang cute and super high quality!
10. Melissa & Doug Service Station Parking Garage & Drive-Thru Car Wash
Kids really love racing track/parking garage type toys, but usually they are huge and made of tacky plastic in garish colors. This Melissa & Doug number is a fantastic alternative though. I love that it’s actually pretty small and wooden, but still super fun for kids.
11. Natural Skwish Baby Toy
A teether and toy in one – these little Skwish toys are always much beloved by babies.

12. Personalized Photo Tangram Puzzles
These personalized puzzles would be great for toddlers who aren’t fully ready for pieces with a ton of crazy edges just yet and so fun that the puzzles can be made up from special photos of family and friends!

13. Melissa & Doug Shape-Sorting Wooden Dump Truck
For the baby/toddler who loves sorting and lives for watching the trash truck on garbage day.
14. Red Bunny Sweatshirt Hugo Loves Tiki
Alice has the jumpsuit of this sweatshirt and I wasn’t totally sure about the bunny print, but it’s super cute on and totally great for boys or girls. I really like the sweatshirt version of it!

15. Checkout Register
A perfect gift for the toddler in your life who loves dramatic play. Just imagine the hours that could be spent “playing Target” – ha!

16. Pom Bonnets
These bonnets KILL me. They are so lovely. Alice has the navy one pictured and it’s such good quality and so cozy and sweet.
Get it for $45.00 each via Mosey Handmade
17. Let’s Dance Dress in Plaid
This little plaid number is perfect for holiday dressing, but equally great year round. A great option for the littlest of twirlers.
Get it for $44.00 via Monica & Andy
18. Little Tikes 3′ Trampoline
This one really is a gift for parents as much as it is for kids. The cold, wet, winter months can be rough on the nerves, because all that pent up kid energy has nowhere to go (except for bouncing off the walls of your house). With this gift, now that energy can have somewhere constructive to be bounced around.
19. The Nutcracker: A BabyLit Dancing Primer
BabyLit books are some of our favorites for little ones and I can’t wait to add this holiday Nutcracker one to our collection.
20. Beginner Puzzle Pets
Super simple and adorable puzzles for littles. I love puzzles like this that are free-form and don’t have a base, because they take up so much less room when storing.

21. Hooded Romper
Childhoods is one of our favorite makers of super quality kids clothing and these little hooded rompers are totally swoon-worthy. I love this little tree print, but there are a ton of other colors/prints on the site.

22. Hape Pound & Tap Bench + Xylophone
A super cool cause and effect toy that’s great for the development of motor skills.
23. Pom Pom Tutu
What toddler girl wouldn’t adore this rainbow pom pom filled tutu? I mean, if I’m completely honest I sort of want to wear it myself.
24. Melissa & Doug Let’s Play House Set
This cleaning set is great for both imaginative play and for encouraging little ones to be helpers around the home. Toddlers are prime age for wanting to be helpers, so this is a great way to take advantage of that.
25. LEGO DUPLO Deluxe Box of Fun
You really can never go wrong with a big box of DUPLOs. Even if babies can’t build just yet, they love to sort and stack and chew on them and toddlers all be entertained for hours!
Love it all. Love the energy expendunbidead. Thank you for doing this
Oh auto correct! Meant energy expending
I already got the M&D broom and mop set for my 2 year old for Christmas! She LOVES sweeping with my big broom but it’s a bit dicey with the long handles! Can’t wait to see her playing with this! and maybe cleaning up some of her own thousand-a-day messes too? haha
