I don’t know if this is totally awesome or totally lame, but my favorite thing about today was that I realized that my absolute favorite place in all the world is my couch.
Craig and I had been planning for a few days to go on a date tonight to (finally) see “Where the Wild Things Are” and I was super excited about it….until tonight. I was feeling tired after work and all I wanted to do was go home and lay on the couch. I told Craig I wasn’t really feeling it and the best part was that he wasn’t either but was going to go anyways just cause he knew I was so excited about it. It’s like we’re meant for each other or something. So in synch. This is why I love him. So….this is why we don’t go on weeknight dates…..because we both love our couch too much. It’s for sure my favorite place in the world.
Some of our best conversations take place on the couch.
Like tonight while Craig was watching football (which….FYI….is apparently now on Thursdays too…seriously??? Like Saturday, Sunday and Monday weren’t enough?)
Craig: “I think we should be farmers.”
Me: “Uh…seriously?”
Craig: “Why not?”
Me: “Ummmm….maybe because we live in the suburbs and not on a farm, and maybe because we have absolutely no useful farming skills.”
Craig: “So?”
Me: “Maybe you should just play Farmville instead.”
Without our couch I wouldn’t get to have these conversations with my husband about his innermost hopes and dreams in life. So really our couch is like an investment in our marriage… or something like that.

Where’s your favorite place?
That was really cute.Your pictures on the couch very cute. It is good to have a favorite place in all the world. I have to say that I have two favorite places.Favorite place #1-my couch. I know this because I love to kick back with my feet up on the couch when I get home from work,the nicest thing about my couch is that it is always there waiting for me to get home. Favorite place #2-my bed when I get tucked in with the covers tight-that’s one of the favorite things I like that your dad does for me.
If we had a couch, that would be my favorite place in the world, but we don’t, because we live in a studio, so instead my favorite place is my bed. It’s practically new, super-comfy, pretty, and so cozy that I really hate leaving it in the mornings!

my bed!!! not just because i was sent home feom work for being “too sick” (which i am, but I NEED the MONEY!) and have now been feeling sorry for myself all day long while trying to fight off whatever disease is taking over my body while doozing and laying around in bed, BUT really, its soooo smooshy and fluffy and warm and comfy and i love it. and that couch looks NICE, i need to get my a big comfy couch! (<-- ps that was the weirdest show to ever be on tv...)
your couch looks super comfy! my favorite place is my bed at my parents house. it is seriously the comfiest bed in the world and i always lay down on it for a minute right when i get home and sigh..
Lauren you are to funny:) I have to say that my favorite place is my living room floor, I know that sounds weird but thats where me and the girls put puzzles together and make bead necklaces, but the best thing is when we throw down all the blankets make a big bowl of popcorn and cuddle up to watch a movie.
Otherwise I LOVE my kitchen of course:)
u look so cute in that last pic! i love my couch back home in s’pore too! i can sit/lie there all day & put on movie after movie, drama serial after drama serial. N the best part of it all? the aircon’s infront of the couch, so i get to enjoy all the cool cool air whilst just lazing there 😉
as for the rearrangement of the alphabets (spell with flickr) — i pasted the html (copied from the website) onto my blog post under the “Edit Html” tab. After that, i clicked on the compose tab, and then separated the “the”, the “siu” and the “jiat” by pressing “enter” after each word.

haha I LOVE my couch too. i actually wish it looked more like yours, and wish it was more comfy, but it is still my favorite place ever! i love it! i love your conversation with Craig! so funny! that reminds me of Sean and I’s farmville debate. haha. i hope that you have a fun weekend, and “where the wild things are” was awesome. i loved it! love you lauren! have a happy friday!
