Sometimes fake flowers are lame. Most of them remind me of my grandma. Which is ok…if you’re a grandma, but I prefer mine fresh cut. BUT….since that’s not always an option in the winter, I was excited to find these cute little fakies at Michael’s this weekend. They add a little ray of sunshine to my house, and it makes me happy….even if they still look a little fake. I’m ok with it.

Aw I like those! I agree, in the winter fake flowers are totally okay.
I have a giant fake peony in my bathroom, so I’m going to say it’s perfectly fine to display the fakies! I love spring because then I can bring in roses, lilacs and irises from my yard, but until then, I guess fake will have to do!

I love the little cup the flowers are in! My grandma had tons of dishware like that and I’ve always loved it!

I have never been into fake flowers either, but they are cute, and some yellow in the middle of rain can never hurt!

These are actually pretty fake flowers. I found some really brightly colored ones at hobby lobby this weekend I thought about getting, but I made some instead.
Sometimes they do just fine! I’m amazed at some of the “fakes” these. day. My BFF is a whiz at making gorgeous faux arrangements. 1/2 the time no one is the wiser!

I loveee fake flowers. I think they brighten up any room lovely. I tie a cute ribbon around mine and put in multiple flowers. It may look more fake but they make me happy. Which is all that matters I suppose. Ha ha.

These are great. I love flowers, and I don’t really like fake ones. I call them dust collectors because that’s what they are. 😉 However, I do have to agree here…it’s not easy to find cute flowers in winter, and we all need some sunshine…so this yellow flower you found looks perfect!!!! I need to get me one, or two, too. 😀
i have some yellow fake flowers that i always have in my home… from michael’s too… i need flowers in my home and since i don’t have any flowers in my yard (besides gardenia in the spring and summer) and dan is cheap, i have to display the fakes…. and it’s totally okay with me!

I can relate, Lauren! i have a bit of a thing with fake fruit. For some reason, I think it is cute – and it totally reminds of me of my gram, too. she has tons of fake grapes around the house!
I love flowers in the house and try to always have fresh ones when I can. One day when I am not living so frugally post-student life I have vowed the first thing will to always always have flowers in the house. It not only keeps me inspired but forever brightens my day.

very cute! and not grandma-ish at all. if you saw the amount of fake flowers my mom keeps in my house you would barf. i am seriously hoping it’s not a genetic trait thats gonna hit me in my 50s.
