Weekend highlights…..
FRIDAY:
Seeing an old man with a parade of Daschund puppies running behind him at Waterfront Park. Maybe the cutest thing I saw all week.
Happy hour and girls night with the ladies
in our church home community.
SATURDAY:
Hung out with these beautiful ladies.
We didn’t do anything.
We just chatted for hours.
And it was perfect.
I think being able to do nothing with someone is the mark of a true friend, and these girls are most definitely true friends and I love them massively.
I was supposed to do Karaoke with co-workers later.
But I didn’t.
I had a sort of “argument” with Craig and I was in a bad mood….which is not in the spirit of karaoke. My work friends will probably give me crap on Monday because I never go to work functions. Oh well.
SUNDAY:
Lunch at Mongolian Grill (Craig’s fave)
Aren’t they cute?
Then….just lounging….and choosing a winner for the lovely giveaway for Cristin’s beautiful cowl scarf….AND….the winner is…….. # 16

Would you say Saint Cupcake is your favorite cupcake place in Portland? I plan on taking my lil sis up there for a day trip and I would love to introduce her to the love that is a cupcake.

We used to have a miniature dachshund when I was younger and he was SO cute and sweet, but we had to get rid of him because my mom doesn’t like animals 🙁
Those cupcakes look good, and I’ve really been craving sugar the last few days! I’m hoping the weather will stay nice so I can jump on the trampoline, then I can justify eating sweet junk food!

i woke josh up from his nap just to show him how cute it was! we want long haired dachsunds really badly.
we’re getting one right after we’re married and we can’t even wait! 🙂
that cupcake store is so sweet looking! (pun intended? hmm.)
i love just sitting and talking with friends. that is seriously the best thing. we’ll go out to steak n shake or something like it here and get a table and just talk for hours on end. the people there have gotten to know us quite well over the past few months. 🙂
