My favorite things
about today were:
Waking up to see this
creative love note on my counter.
It pertained to milk.
I love my husband.
AND….
Talking to a group of 2nd and 3rd graders at my mom’s school about the trip I took to Kenya. They were so cute and asked about a million questions. Actually….a lot of people through blogging have asked me questions about Kenya since I’ve mentioned a couple of times that I’d gone there, so maybe I’ll have do a post about it later in the week. For now, here are a couple of photos of beautiful Kenyan children….

that’s so awesome that you went to kenya! i would love to go there on a mission trip. my church partnered with an orphanage there, and we just started sponsoring one of the orphans. he is 4 and he has the most contagious smile 🙂

oh and i wish i had abs!! your comment was sweet, but i wish i had appreciated what i had at the time…. sigh.. i don’t think i have ever been in as good of shape as i was at that time.. we worked really hard all day out on the beach doing manual labor and i don’t think i will ever be that active again…

I love these posts – it’s so great to remind ourselves to focus on the little things that make each day great. Adorable note from your husband. This weekend, my husband wrote “i love you” in the middle of my grocery list. Made me smile huge. I love little things like that.
