I kind of sort of hate Christmas music.
I don’t hate what the music says.
I just get annoyed because it’s so obnoxiously cheery.
Well….here is some Christmas music that (in my opinion) doesn’t suck. You may have already seen this over at The Rockstar Diaries, but I thought I’d post it in case you didn’t. Last night I was making lasagna and baking cookies and something in me craved Christmas music and this was just the ticket :). Even better….it’s free to download! Yay for Christmas cheer that isn’t overly cheery!

Thanks for sharing this! I usually get on a big Christmas music kick right after Thanksgiving, but by now I’m burned out on hearing the same songs by the same artists over and over on the radio. I love this song, I’ll have to check more of these albums out.

AWESOME! I put Christmas songs on Pandora the other day and it was depressing- all Bing Crosby and things like that.
I love Sufjan Steven’s Christmas album- it has a mix of modern, original songs and beautiful versions of some of the most beautiful old carols. It is great! Check it out…
