a little of this. a little of that.

Our weekend was filled with
a little of this and a little of that.

FRIDAY:

I had the day off work, because I was working on a photo shoot doing wardrobe styling.  It was for a show called Framed that will be featuring Lisa Warninger as one of their photogaphers and I got to style with Chelsea Fuss from Frolic, which was so fun!  Here’s a little shot I snapped with my phone.

Later, we had date night with Chris & Becca.  Our first stop was dinner at Pok Pok.  So good! We scarfed so quickly, this was the only picture I was able to snap.

The highlight of the evening’s culinary delights was Ruby Jewel.  How had I never been here before?  The ice cream sandwiches were like heaven on earth.  You get to choose your cookies and your ice cream.  SO good!  They even put our picture on the “Wall of Fame”.  We’re legit.

SATURDAY:

I had breakfast with my mom and did a little bit of shopping with my friend Jamie.

I should’ve bought this hat.  I kind of love it.

I did buy these boots.  And I love them.  AND….they were 1/2 off!

I also bought myself a little something from Lille Boutique.
Did I mention that I love it there?

SUNDAY:

Scouted street style for Urban Weeds with Lisa and she introduced me to my first shot of straight espresso.  Intense, but good.  Would you believe I didn’t drink coffee period until 6 months ago?

Later we went to dinner for Craig’s grandma’s birthday.
She’s my favorite.

OK.

That’s it.

THE END!

  15. those sperry boots are amazing!

  16. Sounds fabulous! I’m so glad you’re still getting lots of opportunities to style! I did a lot of shopping the last couple days as well, and it feels so good! Usually I have buyers remorse, but once I realized that I was literally wearing the same plain clothes over and over and over again, I justified going on a little spending spree (well not really, I had gift cards).

Oh, and I am OBSESSED with Ian’s grandma! I love my grandmas and they are quite amusing, themselves, but there is something about Mimi (her real name is Lee 🙂 ) That just kills me. She is sooooooooo entertaining. And really sassy. She’s like 87 and she just got engaged to a 49 year-old! yes. And she just moved from northern washington to albany to be closer to the family : )

  17. Ok! That ice cream place sounds amazing! I am so going. A weekend full of fashion, food, friends, and family! What more could you want? Happy Tuesday! xoxo

  18. How can you even eat that ice cream sandwich? It’s huge! I’m sure that wouldn’t stop me from trying though. This makes me want to go shopping, I haven’t been shopping in so long.

  19. I just watched an episode of Diners, Drive-ins & Dives with Pok Poks! Crazy!
