signs you might be a little bit emotional.

Here are some signs that you might be
having an emotional weekend….
{this photo has nothing to do with this post, but I hate
posts without photos, so I put this one in}

-You spend an hour reading mom blogs/crying….blogs like this one and this one…. and you’re not even a mom!

-You finally convince your husband to watch Toy Story 3 and you cry when Andy leaves for college.

-You tear up while watching this TED talk.
The following may or may not have occured this weekend.  Not sure why I was feeling extra emotional, but aside from that it was a nice/relaxing weekend.  I went to a women’s brunch at church with Becca, had lunch with a new friend Kristina and her mom and went scouting for Urban Weeds street style.  Also watched The Fighter which was INCREDIBLE!  One of the best movies I’ve seen in quite some time.
OK…that’s it.  Nothing super exciting to report.
How was your weekend?

  1. I cried on Toy Story 3 too. not to mention Bolt. And don’t tell anyone but there was this one scene is Beverly hills Chihuahua….

  2. I also cried when Andy leaves for college!!
My weekend was good too!! 🙂

  3. Had a great weekend! Saw the new Jane Eyre movie, did some cleaning up, exercised, the usual 🙂

Love the picture despite its randomness lol!

  4. oh no! i hate weepy sort of days. my husband always looks at me like i’m some sort of alien that he has no idea how to console! i hope you’re all evened out to start out the week, lady.

i had a crazy, busy funfilled weekend. i’m pretty sure it had to do with the fact that it was actually warm out!

have a perfect sort of day today!

  5. I have emotional days as well. It just happens out of the blue sometimes. Overall, though, I AM an emotional/sensitive person, so I guess it works. Have a great week!

  6. I totally cried during Toy Story 3 also, hehe.

  7. Haha, I think it’s totally ok to be emotional from time to time. I get like that as well. Mom blogs can be so precious! I’m not a mom and I’ve cried over them before too.

  8. Oh man, Sunday was my crying day! No worries, sometimes I get weepy too. Great to have lunch together this weekend and thanks for the shoutout! Blessings on your week.

  9. Haha, I watched Toy Story 3 with a 5 year old and a 3 year old. I tried so hard to hold my tears in because I didn’t want to have to explain to them why I was sad. They were just happy through the whole thing.

  10. It’s hard to read Kelle Hampton’s blog and not get overcome with happiness or any other combination of tear-inducing emotions. Her blog is amazing. Toy Story 3 is also a given. It’s just so sweet. Being an emotional being, maybe more so on some days than others, doesn’t bother me much. I actually take pride in it. It’s our right as humans to feel and think, and sometimes it’s okay to dwell.

  11. For what it’s worth, I think you’d have to be a robot NOT to cry over all of those things. My husband and I cried our eyes out watching Toy Story 3. And this birth story is so beautiful. Cheers to a great week 🙂

  12. I have days where I feel like this too! I would love for you to check out my blog and follow back! 🙂

  13. I’ve been more emotional lately, too. Not sure why but I’ve been crying at everything!

  14. That TED talk is AMAZING!!!!! Thanks for scouting, that was a long day. Man.

  15. I’ve been having an emotional month! UG! I don’t really cry at stuff like that, I just feel crazy emotional

  16. Thank you for the introduction to Enjoying the Small Things! That post made me cry and want to cry harder.

I’ve had an emotional week, too. I haven’t had a good cry since December, but I’ve cried 6 times in the last 4 days! Thank you, hormones.

Hope you get to feeling cheery again soon, but enjoy the catharsis, too, dear!

  17. I bawled watching Toy Story 3 – totally can relate with that bullet point. Emotional weekends are sometimes much needed.

  18. Hi, there. I hear you about being emotional. I teared up today while doing a yoga twist. I guess sometimes you just need to that sort of emotional release.

  19. I cried uncontrollably when Andy left for college. So did my dad. I didn’t think a cartoon would make me so emotional, but it did.

  20. Yes, I’ll admit–I cried during UP and TS3.

  21. I was extra emotional this past week…still kind of am. Got lots of life changing things happening. Hope you’re feeling better! Sometimes you just need a good cry for no reason.
