Spring finally showed up in Portland this weekend
(just in time for summer….).
To celebrate Craig took me on an impromptu date after work on Friday night.
We drove with the top down on the G.
….and we ate dinner outside in the Pearl.
Marley was a happy camper, because she got to sit outside with us and people watch.
Saturday I spent the day visiting my grandma and yard sale-ing with my mom, aunt and cousin. In the evening we went to a BBQ hosted by old high school youth group friends. We hadn’t seen them in ages and it was fun catching up and seeing everyone whose had babies since we last saw them. It’s crazy to think that we’re all grown-ups now. Sometimes it’s a little weird to think of myself as a grown-up still, but I suppose I am. I’m married with a mortgage and a dog. Pretty grown-up I suppose. Later we watched “Sunshine Cleaning” and I really liked it. If you haven’t seen it, it’s in the instant section on Netflix and is definitely better than a lot of the crap we end up watching off there.
Sunday I worked on revamping my blog with Lisa. Well….she really did all the revamping. I just gave input. I was ready for a change – something clean and simple and modern, but still fun and I feel like this was definitely achieved. I absolutely love the fun new fonts and my pretty header. What do you think of the outcome?
The afternoon was spent frisbee golfing with friends & family and then eating Dairy Queen Blizzards for dinner. At least that’s what I had for dinner. Here are some photos of my brother-in-law Cory going fishing for lost discs on the 2nd hole. I just skipped the water feature completely and took a penalty, because it definitely would’ve gone in if I’d tried it. Good thing it was a hot day!

I love the blog re-do and I LOVE disc golf! sounds like a great weekend. Is Portland really animal friendly? here in N. FL. no where is that animal friendly, even most of the parks! people are so scared of large dogs.. but where you live seems a lot more open in general, haha.
That sounds like a great weekend! My husband and I just recently got into frisbee golf! It’s so much fun! Fortunately we don’t have a hole with a water hazard at our course. Mine would inevitably go in, too! =)

And I totally get the whole grown up thing. I’ll look and people with kids and think that they’re WAY older than I am but in reality we’re about the same age.

I love your disc golf course! Our first encounter with folfing was in MT. I loved being out in nature 🙂 In SoCal, the courses are so boring, mostly at parks.
