Lauren, I’m late to the congratulatory wishes, but I’m so happy for you and your husband. You look adorable, and yes, keep rocking 5 inch heels for as long as possible! I just wanted to say I had my first two babes at a birthing center, the second was way better because I actually made it there in time for a waterbirth. For my third child, I plunged even further and hired a midwife to do a homebirth. Driving to and from the birthcenter over 1/2 an hour a way was just too unpleasant to think about. And it was a fantastic homebirth experience. Now we’re slated for #4 at home in about 5 weeks. I completely agree: doesn’t make me better or worse to have a natural childbirth, or even a homebirth…every woman must do what she’s comfortable with. Thank goodness we have the freedom/choices available to make those decisions! Hope you’re feeling well. Wishing you all the best.
