I love the idea of DIYS.
I see them scattered about on blogs and think
“Hey! I should do that!”
But do I?
Nope.
It’s not that I’m not crafty. I definitely have a crafty streak. It’s more a problem of time (of lack thereof). Working 10 hour days, going to prenatal appointments, blogging at two different blogs and making time for friends and family leaves little time for much else. On top of that I’m just a little bit lazy.
BUT…if time and laziness weren’t factors here are some cute DIYs that I would attempt….
(Perhaps I’ll get a burst of energy and motivation when all that pregnancy nesting kicks in so I can actually do some of these!)

I’m definitely an admirer! I love the idea of DIYs and I’ve done maybe 3. But now that I’m on Pinterest and finding so many wonderful things I might try my hand at a few!
number one, i also see a lot of diy’s i want to try but never end up doing because i get kind of (or really) lazy.
number two, YOU AREN’T LAZY! after being involved in as much stuff as you are, i wouldn’t want to have anything planned for my downtime either!

I don’t think I’m very crafty but I’ve done two posts re:crafty projects on my blog including one today. Maybe having a baby has changed me?! Eek.

You can cheat on the last one! Just take a men’s button-up (that’s actually buttoned up) and pull it up to your waist and tie the arms in the front.
I have 4 weeks left and nesting hasn’t happened. I really don’t think it’s going to and I have so much around the house I should do. I just really don’t want to do it.
oh man I totally love that picnic blanket and the dip-dyed baskets, which would be a perfect firewood basket! Who really has time to do this stuff anyways? Fun fact: I originally named my blog “if i have time” and it was going to be about aall the DIYs I’d do if I had time 🙂

I am not crafty at all. I would rather pay to have someone make it for me. Remember those Hex friendship bracelets, I really wanted one but didn’t want to make it myself. I wanted someone to make it for me.
I am truly an admirer of DIY’s.
But that may all soon changed. I signed up for sewing class. I start Monday.
