1. Something that is very near and dear to my heart is, marriage. I really value marriage and would actually love to be a marriage and family counselor one day .
2. Today. is good cause to celebrate .
3. The most fun I ever had was going on a spontaneous road trip from Texas to Oregon with Craig .
4. True friends are the ones where no topic is off-limits and you can always pick up where you left off even if there’s a time lapse between visits .
5. Something that makes me terribly happy is Fern’s goofy, happy morning face. I love that kid .
6. A good way to spend a sunny day is with an iced drink and time with friends doing anything outdoors .
7. My favorite celebratory food is a donut (see that photo? yep – that’s my kind of celebration) and also coffee. Any occasion is a good occasion for coffee .

Spontaneous road trips are the best – no expectations, no plans, just winging it! I still try to do those with my kids (maybe in day trip form).
And donuts? I lurve donuts.
