If you’ve been a regular follower of this blog and a faithful blank filler you may have noticed that I’ve been less regular with posting my Fill in the Blank Friday feature.
Well, that’s because we’ve had a series of prohibitive events…illness, holidays, etc., etc… but that’s not the main reason. The main reason I haven’t been writing blanks is because I’m honestly kind of over it.
I’ve been blogging for about four years now and posting Fill in the Blank Fridays for at least three of those years and it’s just gotten to the point where I’m no longer inspired by it. I came up with it as a whim and thought it would be something fun to fill in the spaces when I had nothing else to blog about.
But now?
Well, it’s just not fun for me anymore. I tried to revamp it and attempted to walk away a couple other times, but kept going because, I knew so many people enjoyed this weekly routine, but I just can’t keep it up anymore and so I am saying goodbye to Fill in the Blank Fridays and hello to other more inspiring topics. I want to write more about motherhood and things I like and enjoy and do more DIY creative posts. This blog is supposed to be an outlet for me and an inspiration to try new things and get creative and that is just what I intend to do with it.
Thank you to all of you who have faithfully blanked every Friday for ages – you are all the sweetest. I hope you’ll stick around!

🙁 Oh No!!! I was kinda looking forward to the Fill Ins… every friday as itwas a good way to get to know some other people as I would read most of the links people left on your blogpost.
Oh well… hopefully, you can still do something like this so we are able to connect with other people.

I can understand it being hard to keep it up but I am glad I found your FITBF series, participated in it and even helped you out one time because it helped me discover new blogs, make new blogger friends and get to know you a little bit better.
sad to see its over but glad that you found so many new bloggers from it! 🙂 it was great fun! I cant wait to see what else you have planned!
