on why i secretly wish for 20 babies.

I’ve always been quite staunch in my stance on only wanting two kids.

But, lately I’ve been wanting more…like a whole soccer team’s worth. I blame Disney.

You see…writing for Disney Baby means I get to come up with blog posts about things like baby names and if you didn’t know…I really have a knack for coming up with baby names. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’ve come up with some pretty good ones lately…which means the running list of baby names on my iPhone is getting longer and longer, despite the fact that I only want to have two kids. OK, correction: I only want to be pregnant and give birth two times. I also want to adopt. So I guess it looks like we’ll have to adopt a whole soccer team. I’m sure my husband wouldn’t mind. He loves soccer :).

Anyway, I also just did a post of baby names inspired by LOVE (it is almost Valentine’s Day afterall!) today that you should check out if you’re on the hunt for your future unborn child…whether they’ll be arriving in 7 months or 7 years…we all know we all know most girls keep a secret list of potential baby names long before they’re ever even considering having an actual human baby. Don’t worry. Your secret is safe with me!

Head over and check it out if you feel so inclined!

And have a happy weekend!

  1. oh this post is so cute. I’m now stalking your posts over at disney baby. Isn’t funny that we all keep our baby names a secret lol. My fiancee already shot down 2 of my favs so I’ll share them with you. Collins for a girl. And Holden for a boy. Holden from The Catcher in the Rye. And Collins as in”make me a Tom Collins”.

  2. love Amorette & Connelly — making a note of those 🙂

  3. I LOVE baby names. And I tell myself that the names I don’t use for my own kids one day are names I can use when I write. Win win, right?
