OK…I’ll admit. I stole this idea. BUT, I did have the idea to use it on my blog, so I think that sort of counts as me having an idea….right?
Let me explain. I really liked doing the giveaway on my blog this last week, and I will continue to do them in the future, but obviously not everyone will be able to win, which kind of makes me sad. So I thought that in addition to future giveaways I might start sending random mail to some of my followers who are interested. I saw that Katie of Skunkboy Creatures does this and I think it would be so fun. I seriously love getting mail that isn’t junk or bills…especially when it’s a surprise. I used to make cards all the time in college and randomly give them to friends, and I sort of miss that. I also think that snail mail is a dying form of communication that should be brought back.
The mail could be just a card I made or it could include trinkets or maybe even just something silly and random…it is “random mail” afterall. So if you like surprises and mail, then e-mail me your name and address, and who knows….maybe someday you’ll find a little something from me in your mailbox.
I think that your idea of random mail is a great one, I have been thinking lately that the art of writing letters should come back, because I know that I love getting mail, it puts an instant smile on my face. 🙂 Zumba and shopping sounds fun!
Love this idea =) It’s such a good one because everyone loves getting mail since like you said most of the stuff you get is just boring bills.

okay i love this random mail thing! 🙂 i still send out cards out of the blue on various times of the year to friends, and some of them i make. and yeah, i do like getting stuff from the mail from other people instead of bills and things i bought for myself! 🙂 enjoy the semi-annual sale. i’m sure craig will, too 🙂

n i agree with what u said abt snail mail. i myself remember handwriting letters to penpals & frens & that slowly died down with emailing n later friendstering & now facebooking. so when i got a parcel with a handwritten letter frm a longtime fren in taiwan previously, i was too happy for words 🙂 i’ll definitely support this new initiative of urs! will email u later & hope to get a surprise frm u in the mail sumday =D
omg vic secret’s sale is worth the squeezing & the squashing & the human traffic! bf doesnt like pretty lingerie with laces (but i do!!!); he prefers the plain n simple ones (which are quite boring isnt it..). wish u luck with the shopping!
