Typically I’m pretty boring when it comes to shoes. I tend to stick with neutrals whenever possible, because they have the most matching potential, but when BC Footwear let me choose a pair of their shoes to style I decided to get a little crazy and go for a fun color. Green shoes! Whaaaa?! I almost don’t even know who I am anymore!
They’re actually pretty perfect though because this particular shade of green almost works as a neutral and I can definitely foresee getting a ton of wear out of these…especially since the rest of my wardrobe is also stockpiled with neutrals (hmmm…are you noticing a pattern here?). Also… hello super cute contrasting wedge! I kind of love these.
Here’s how I wore them to a friend’s birthday party Friday night. Also, I’m totally obsessed with the dress in this post, although I couldn’t find a link to it at Forever 21, but it’s a recent find. It’s so incredibly comfortable AND it has pockets. Doesn’t get any better than that! It has a lot of visual interest, so I kept all of my accessories simple to let my dress and shoes do the talking.

Love the shoes! I’m a neutrals kind of girl too, but I think stepping out of the comfort zone every now and then works wonders, and those green shoes definitely work on you 🙂
